• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Evening Gents, just finished this piece in time for next weekends Australian Knifemakers Guild Show.

Blade is 440C, tang insert is ATS34. Rear bolsters are 416, guard pieces are 304 stainless. Scales are Giraffe bone, the stones are 10mm Garnets. Engraver Danae Cresswell.
OAL is 18" X 11 1/2" blade. Hope you like, for my part I'm glad it's over:)

what a beauty! I can only imagine the time and patience that went into making that blade. Thanks for sharing. :)

as Robert so eloquently says -- simply marvelous! Very elegant and likely will not hang around long. Have a great show.

Very interesting design and beautifully ground blade. The pictures really help in understanding the complexity of the build. The engraving adds just the right finishing touch. Congratulations for a special piece.

Cheers everyone and thanks for all your wonderfull comments, very much appreciated. Don't think it would take the top off a grape as well as a DesRosiers blade but I recon it could give one a good scare:)

Looking forward to the Show, we are experiencing a renued serge in interest down here especially from new makers. This will be the first show in a long time where I won't know every one.
