Only other option is black,IMHO....unless they have something darker.

I would go with the graphics / colors of the patch (inverted colors might also look cool) + include a knife but not across the logo, rather underneath
Another option is to emulate your antiqued maker's mark from the knives, but that might be too demanding (read: expensive) graphically
