I have seen a Khalsa in a local gun store for $90.I wanted some feedback from people who own one.Would it be a good fighter/self-defense blade? It has the the same hump back as the gunting, does it make for a faster opening?
Chains: The JOt is a very cool knife..its a collectors piece now I believe..
Its a SPYDERCO..it cuts very well..its easy to open and its comfortable to use..Its carry for me is off due to the wide profile..BUT its really SPYDERCO sharp..
BUT: yes as with any edged tool it can be used to defend yourself BUT it is NOT an MBC-Martial Blade Craft knife..thats NOT what is designed for..cutting, elegant cutting...utlitarian cutting..yes..emergency? yes..
specifically an MBC blade? nope...
There are other sPYDIES you can get IF you want ONLY a tool that might see its main usage as a self defense tool.
Thanks for the info on the Khalsa (prices, its purpose) so i decided to pass on it for now.Instead i bought a s.s.Natvie and i love it.I guess i just wanted to buy another Spyderco, sorry cant help myself.
