KHHI GI3 Khukuri Knife(Pictures)

Just ordered 3 semi-custom Khukuri/Kukri Knives from KHHI also known as the Khukuri House.
(3 had custom weights and one had a custom length)

One of these was their GI3 (Gurkha Issue 3rd) model and before ordering I had real trouble finding pictures online so thought I'd post some up I was sent when I requested some from the company to help anyone in the future who is considering buying one.

These Khukuri/kukri are made by hand by Kami using 5160 steel and come with a nice warranty with semi-custom and custom work offered which I took advantage of and was taken care of by the owner with my many questions/requests. Only negative is these are made to order and shipping is expensive because it is international express.






 
Nice looking Kukri, I have one of these as well. I ordered it in about 2011 and asked for it to be identical to the MkII it is said to be a copy of. While it is a very nice kukri it didn't arrive with the specs I asked for. I was going to list it for sale later this week when I get a few pics of it.

What were the other models you ordered?

The other models I ordered were the Mccurdy Modern and the Panawal Dotted Khukuri.
 
You will love the McCurdy, John's specs and guidance with that model have really made it one of the best Kukri you can get from KHHI. Its light, nimble and yet chops above its weight class. The only problem I had with the two I owned was keeping them. Every time I took one out someone wanted it...

Thanks. I ordered the Mccurdy semi-custom with an extra inch of blade and lightweight at 23 oz.

The Panawal and GI3 I ordered with customw eights of 23 and 25 oz.

Should be getting them this week so we'll see.
