Here's the shot with a scale. As you can see, it's a standard 12" AK blade, with a little hand rubbing to improve the villager finish. The butt cap was cut out of a piece of brass 3/8" thick, the filed to shape. The guard was filed out of a similar size piece, perhaps a bit thicker. I filled a 35mm film can with brass filings. Don't ask me why I saved them, I guess just curious about how much would be scrap.
