I know one thing for certain, a good pair of shoes is infinitely better than the wrong pair of boots anyday.

Man I sure don't see no Catahoula? You must have a keen eye. My daughter is on her 3rd Catahoula. Guy things he's a lap dog. Comes in the house and hits me and the recliner at top speed. Very cool dogs.

She had a mom and a pup but somehow they got out of their pen and both got hit by a train. That was a bad day. They were missing for a couple days before we found them. Actually it was the weekend they got married. Had out of town guest helping us look for them.

Don't see many Catahoula's round here, once in awhile and the owners are usually impress when I know what they are. Kind of puffs me up like I'm smart and know something or something. Very rare.
 
Looking again I'll be darned if I don't think I see a little Rottweiler in the shape of the head. I thought and thought about it and I think that's what I see.

Bet he'd be heck in a sheep pen.
 
A lot of people go hiking in Chuck Taylor style sneakers. They're very lightweight and they breath well. I wouldn't want to take them on rocky terrain of course, but considering hiking boots usually weigh a couple pounds a piece it's an easy way to lighten your load if you're walking on a fairly well groomed trail.

I bought a pair of these "Israeli military boots" awhile back, they're sort of a boot/sneaker hybrid that combines the best of both worlds.

I stick with knobby tires and prefer an electric motor myself.

I will say any shoes and even barefoot is a big advantage. Yall with legs really make me jealous sometimes.:D:D
