I got home from work Friday morning off a 24hr shift. I had just sat down eat with the wife, when the doorbell rang. It was our mail lady, with a long triangular box. I felt just like a kid on Christmas morning!!

I got the 16.5" WWII and the 15" BAS from the 4/7 DOTD. I couldn't be happier with them! I haven't had the chance yet to use them, but there is no doubt they will be up to the task. I will need to do a bit of smoothing of the end cap, especially on the WWII, as it is a bit sharp on the edge of my hand, but nothing a few swiped with a file or some emory cloth can't take care of.

Thanks so much for introducing me to yet another way to lighten my wallet. :D

And a big Thank You to Yangdu for allowing it to happen.
 
I never had anything cool waiting for me when I got through with cq/staff duty. You have now been infected with the dreaded HIKV.

Interesting side note, my wife was born and raised for the first 6 years of her like just up the road in Finchville. My nephew, her brother's son, lives in Mt. Washington with his mom. Small world, ain't it;)
