I have long extolled the chopping abilities of what I used to call, "The fully curved blades" vs the "angled blades" of the regular khukuris. but I like HD's definition, "arc shaped blades" better as it's more accurate.:thumbup: :D
I don't know if there's any difference between them that I prefer the arc shaped blades over the angled blades as they are both swung in the same arc when using them but it always seemed like the arc shaped blades were more accurate in placement for me as well as somehow hitting with more force, but maybe it was just my imagination. :rolleyes: :confused:

I totally agree. For me the angled ones seem to produce more stress to my arm and hand where the gradually curved ones do not.

Hmm, do ya reckon maybe it's the way weight tends to be distributed on the arc khuks that makes them more effective? :confused:
