I didn't see a HI Khuk in the lot. Most I could sure identify as India Khuks though. That's OK though, If the school supplied the khuks I can understand no buying HI khuks. It seems that someone interested enough to attend this type of seminar, they would have their own Khuk and know what the best is.
As for what good they do in these seminars surely depends upon the instructors abilities and the attentiveness of the attendees.
Having a India Khuk in the house of my sons. I can tell you for sure taht there is no comparison in the ballance of it and one of my HI's. These folks would have a learning curve when handed an HI Khuk. And, I didn't see any wrist aaction at the end of any of the swing when chopping.
