Khukuri sheaths

SingleGrind,
I want to send my khuks over to you to have kydex sheaths made, but first I'll wait for my Chitlangi to come back. Yangdu told me to send it back to her for repair, and if they can't fix it they'll send me a new one. So I'm thinkin I'll wait for that one to come back, then send you the Ang Khola, Chitlangi and micro bowie and knock em all out at the same time. I know it takes a while to make these sheaths, I'm not in a hurry or anything. Let me know what you think.

a friend made a cover for a std. khukuri scabbard from a thick suede sheet he had laying around, it has storm flaps at the top & rings on the sides for a baldric. draws and returns easily but i've held it upside down and shaken it & it stays in. my khukuri, aka 'godzilla' seems to like it.

Oops, I didn't think I broke any rules, but I guess someone didn't agree. I hear a little voice saying "come on, see how far you can go!" But I won't, this time.

JW, those sheaths look great, but I'm all about the 1" spacing on my rivets. More holes = more options. And even with yours, I'd probably want a retention strap. I like to climb trees and scramble around on rocks and wouldn't want the blade coming loose in even the most unlikely combination of events. How do you usually wear those knives? Or do you just pack them?

Top one is the bushcraft model khuk I make for sale-generally I supply them with a large tek-lok.
My KLVUK just gets shoved through whatever belt I'm wearing, or hung from a strap with snaps that'll fit the rivet holes.
Neither one is coming out on it's own. Never had a kydex retentiin sheath I've made ever release a knife on its own

JW, sheaths and khuks are outstanding. I like the KLVUK, looks super handy. The bushcraft khuk looks like it would be a true joy to use.
