khukuri: Which is best for which task?

Cost for the 16.5" model: $125. Cost for the 18" one: $145. No price difference between handle materials. Bill correct me if I'm wrong about the 18 incher.

Thanks again to all for your help. I think I'll go now and peruse the HI web site for the ... um.... well, I ran out of fingers counting how many times I've been there!
