Kiku Matsuda "Kogarashi II" - 4" D2 blade, about 8" overall, 4mm thick. Grey/Black G-10 handle scales. I've had this knife just sitting around for about 6 months. Never used or sharpened. In same condition I received it from JapaneseKnifeDirect. If you look at their picture of the Kogarashi II, you'll notice it is the one here.
I've noticed 2 defects in the knife. First, as the pics will show, there is a little gapping between the metal and the G-10 on the butt end, and a slight gap between the blade and scale on one side at the top end. Second, the blade seems to not be perfectly straight. I can't tell if the metal is slightly bent or if the grind is slightly off on the false edge, giving the illusion of a small bend toward the left.
Nonetheless, this is a very new and beautiful knife. The convex blade edge is hair-popping sharp and in perfect condition.
