Kill Bill

When I saw the previews for Kill Bill I deffently thought it was going to suck. God was I wrong. BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!

The music was cool, the camera angles where cool, The acting was great, the fighting unreal, and the general emotion in the flick is the reason why people are going to see it again.

Beside the point. We don't know that!!! Others disagree. How 'bout not telling us ANYTHING that affects the plot later, whether it happens in the first few minutes or not. All you have to do is button your lip about the movie and talk about knives. Right??!!
If your logic is not to reveal anything, then virtually every newspaper review is guilty of "ruining movies" by giving the basis for the story.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!

In Titanic, the big boat sinks. Just so you know before you spend your money.

Back to your regularly scheduled thread.....

Anyone worried about spoilers should not be reading these threads. If anyone is that concerned about it, he has probably already decided to go see the movie, so he doesn't need reviews. Those who have decided not to see the movie should not be concerned about spoilers anyway. Only the undecided, who can't decide whether or not to see the movie, would seek out reviews without spoilers.

This film is not really subject to spoilers. The last line is a teaser about volume two, hearing it now would not spoil anything.
Nothing else remotely resembles a spoiler.

Anyone who would enjoy the movie would also enjoy it after reading this thread. I liked it, but I understand why some people will hate it. It's a bloody tribute to bloody chop-socki/samauri flicks from three decades ago. If you have ever sought out Sonny Chiba's Streetfighter series, if you like other Quentin Tarantino films, if even bad kung-fu films entertain you, then don't walk, RUN to see this film ASAP.

And don't slip on the slippery floor.

Becareful JGardnerA, I mean we don't want to offend anybody in this forum you know.
You now that lots of people are really sensitive and we should learn to tolerate and appreciate everyone's feelings. Now you must apologize to everyone for being so harsh and the fact that you may have hurt their feelings. I mean the last thing we want to do is to offend anyone ya know. :barf:

Have it your way Gardner, I don't know why I've wasted this much time on this subject to begin with, you will remain unconvinced, of anything but your opinion, no matter what anyone says. As for TKD I hope he gains a little maturity to go with his smart mouth. I'm going to do something more interesting now. Adios.

I might take your opinion seriously if you had actually seen the movie. He only revealed something that happens in the first fifteen minutes. By your logic, if I revealed that Arnold arrives in the beginning of all the terminator movies, I would be ruining the plot. Or if I said that everyone gets on the boat in the beginning of Titanic, that would be ruining the plot.

About the movie...

How the &**£ does she flick a buck folder out that quickly???
It looked like an automatic the way she opened it up.
I hope i'm not giving anything away by saying that she actually did in fact open up the buck folder.

Point 44 - I was wondering the same thing. She definately appeared to "flick" that buck open (kinda funny his name was buck and he carried a buck). You know what - after seeing this movie... I REALLY want a samurai sword!

You were wrong there dude...

The guy carrying the Buck was not the nurse...

The nurse who got slashed by the Buck was called Buck...

Come to think of it...it didn't look like an auto...didn't see any push buttons anywhere...

Same here with the samurai sword...straight after the movie i went online to find out more about shops which sell original samurai swords...and i started looking around for Kendo classes around my area...hahah...i've been planning on taking classes for a while but seeing that movie motivated me even more...

I was wondering why a modern Yakuza didn't have any guns...funny eh...not one of 'em carrying a bloody gun...maybe next movie it'll be guns and swords...hehehe

From what I understand, Japanese gun laws have been very strict for a very long time, so the Yakuza never developed a gun culture. From some things that I have read, the traditional underworld culture in the UK did not rely very heavily on guns either. The newer Caribbean based drugs are a clear exception though.

Gun laws might be strict in Japan, but no gangster gives a .... about that! I have lived many years in Japan and over the last years gun related crime just WENT UP like nothing!
BTW illegal import of guns is also one big business for the Yakuza in Japan.

Lets just say she had plenty of time to open the Buck. If you saw the movie you'd understand.

I agree with Gong, this movie isn't spectacular. So I think it would be hard to spoil this movie for anyone. I saw it during the day with four other people in the theatre. After watching the first 1/3 of the movie a big fat man stood up, said "this is stupid." walked out and never came back. Just my shiny .02 cents.

papadops, the fat dude in the theatre was probably pissed there were no fat people in the movie. They were all skinny japanese people (except for the fat girls in the band) and he couldn't take it anymore. Oh well, his loss. Maybe he got out to get more popcorn or snacks and got lost? Now i'm just speculating so don't get all uptight on me now.
