Killa Zilla II gets Bolt ons

Thank You :) it is pretty hard, I 'd say harder than micarta for sure. It has been used for bearings and pulleys, and it won't float :)
When you cut it, your tools need to be new or new like sharp.

The KZ II weighs 29.5 without handles.
The factory micartas weigh 3.5 oz.
The new Ironwood handles weigh 7.5 oz. ;)
A quarter pound more than factory.
 
Have you compared your KZII to a KZTT? I'm curious what your opinion is about that. Does the heavier KZII handle balance a little more the way you like it, or is it just a new handle for you?
 
The TTKZ is way more blade heavy. So much, it's almost too much. I said almost;)

The KZ II is more of a light heavy weight. Fast and strong, sometimes surprising you with it's power.
I've had the KZ II split the stump I was chopping another log on, on accident:)
