Thanks for posting your pics. :D
Can you tell me what is the material that sheath is made out of, is it durable?

Thanks
Eric

Eric,
It's made from 2mm.-thick yellow acrylic; heated and molded the same way one would make a kydex sheath. I think it is a bit too britlle compared to kydex. :D

that looks cool! Is it made by Apple computers to match your IMac??LOL

Eric, thaks for posting that scan for me. That is the optional sheath from Busse. It is set up, I think, to be a neck carry, but I've been carrying it in my RF Dockers pocket and running the paracord up and looping it thru the belt as a static line. This pancake style sheath is ideal for this type of carry. The KB in this sheath just barely comes to the bottom corner of the openning of the pocket. The fit of this sheath is very secure due to the kydex fitting over the cord wrap, but this set-up still gives a very fast presentation.

Ghibli,
That is a cool sheath:D

utmts4me,
Man, I wonder how a sheath like yours would work with my
Lean Mean Street??;) :D

Hey Guys...

I just came up with a design that avoids the cord wrap altogether while retaining the knife very well..

Unfortunately I don't have a Digi cam yet,,so no pictures are available...

Eric....

Normarc,

That sounds like a plus for getting the final grip you want the FIRST time you grab it. I realize the need for retention but for a fighter I think it should be like drawing a pistol, you want to train yourself to get your firing grip before you "clear kydex". But so many kydex knife sheaths go too far up the handle IMHO which keeps you from positioning your index finger where you want it ultimately for an agressive and safe grip. This is especially true on the KB because if you are forced to "choke-back" on the handle the walnut crusher at the base will be covered by the heel of your hand. No protrudy, no worky!

Chip,

Yeah the LMS would be sweet in a set-up like that.

Hey Chip..

Yupper I agree with you completely...

I plan on using this design on more of my sheaths for fighters in the future...

The main problem with the Killer B ,as far as consistant sheathing is concerned is the cord wrap...

Usually I would just come up to the first knot, use that as part of the retention,, but I've been told by Team Busse that the wrap isn't consitant enough to mass produce sheaths...

This design will allow for mass production and should fit every Killer B made...

Going to try and get a picture up in the next day or so..

I've already told my wife I'm getting a Digi Cam,, in the near future,,but she wants me to sell my boat!! Yikes... LOL

BTW.. I've got expensive taste in cameras too ..LOL
