Kilroy Was Here

I too remember seeing that graffiti and never knowing what it meant either:D

You nailed the likeness and that knife is killer. Love the guard/spacer work, that leaf shaped blade, and that is a sweet piece of koa. I thought it was curly maple initially.

Just AWESOME!

You are doing some unusual stuff these days Ray.
But I like them!
Have you been hanging out with the hippies again?

I really like the knives you have been making Ray.
The bizarre sheaths are another appealing factor to me.
The dagger I got from you has had lots of admiring comments.

Hopefully you will make some really wild stuff for the Eugene show.

Mark, I don't know about wild but sure will have some from off the wall. I'm working on a couple right now. I hope you have the knife from Markman in Eugene. I'd like to see it.

BTW, One of my hippie cows had the first calf of the year. Now all I have to do is find it.

Funny story.

I guess that is a universal thing.

I worked at a Grainery for a year or so. 15 years later, my graffiti is still all over that place! Something about writing your name 70 feet up on a 24 inch wide walkway in Silicone for future generations that is amusing to me!

The old forman now owns the place (and is a good friend) and he says new guys will ask who that is!
