She told me she needs a knife... "I can never get those blah blah blah open and I never have anything to cut them open with. I need a knife but not one like yours." Sound familiar to anyone?
Believe me a knife is the last thing I'd give her if she didn't ask for one! She's not super scared of sharp objects she's just nervous around them. She doesn't even like to use large kitchen knives. Just for reference the knife is going to be used for opening various containers (boxes parcels large envelopes and all shapes and sizes of plastic containers). She already carries scissors around.
Those are some good ideas guys... like I said the main problem is that she can open anything just fine it's the closing part that gets here.
The Balisong idea might just work if I can pass it off right... but I doubt I can. The Jester sounds like a good idea... I'll just have to see how tight one locks up first. The Micra would be okay except she already carries some folding scissors and those aren't getting the job done so why would the Micra? Plus she'd never be able to fold the tools out of the handle.
