Kind of an unusual Hawk for an order...

Lisa sent out this order just thought Id share what was done..Its a plain hammer poll hawk made from high carbon steel hex bar but the belly of the blade has a chisel grind, just as sharp as the cutting edge. Just like a draw knife per the customers request. Im guessing for hooking and dragging off high branches and the like..It works well for it, I know that..

I have heard that called a vine cutter, I think if you were out in the sticks with a hawk like that and the knowledge you have it would be good to make a simple bow with. axe with a draw knife.
