OK, I guess I shouldn't complain to much, since I always get my orders, but the last 2 orders I have placed with Smokey Mountain Knifeworks, I have clearly checked the box for USPS Priority Mail shipping instead of UPS ground service, because my mailman will make sure my packages are secured if I am not home, whereas my UPS guy will just leave them on the porch in plain view without even knocking to see if I am home.

Both orders were shipped UPS even though I choose USPS priority mail.

If they are not going to do it, then why give people the choice?

Sounds like UPS is your problem.
Have a talk with your guy, throw him a soda.

I'd call SMKW and let them know about the problem as well.

Used to order from them a good bit, but the specials have gone downhill a little. Also, they have the most annoying website (in terms of searching) that I've ever seen.

My UPS guy used to just lean out of the truck and hurl the package in the direction of my porch! I complained to the local depot after one of my packages got destroyed by my dog, and they told me their policy is not to leave packages in view of the public or where a dog can get to them. Now the UPS guy sets the packages inside the front door.

Maybe if you complain to his boss, you can get your ups guy to stop doing that.

Maybe the company should ship the way the gentleman asked them to ship.

There are plenty of great companies on the web now. If this is really bugging you, find a new company to send your hand earned cash with.
