Here is a utility knife I made thinking I was going to make a Kephart. It kinda resembles one??????Anyway, this one is not perfect and has a few issues. The grind is not perfect, one side goes farther back than the other. Its not a huge difference but I wanted to be upfront about it. Secondly, there was some tear out when drilling for pin holes. I could have sanded them down to take it out but I wanted a thicker handle so I just left it and filled with CA glue. You can see it but not feel it. It feels good in the hand and should make a great EDC user.
Specs:
1/8 Aldos 1095 Full flat grind, Antique finish
Curly Koa scales about 7/8 thick so they are beefy. Better than pictures show!
7 3/4 overall with 3 1/2 blade
Sheath is a do it all rig made by my custom leather maker. It can be worn horizontal/vertical/dangler RH or LH.
Price is $75.00 shipped priority with delivery confirmation or $50.00 without sheath

4 freakinHours and 18 freakinMinutes and it is SOLD!?!?

Someday,we'll be saying: "I recall when that young man had just started making knives....Hang on! I'll show you one he made for me....I have one of his first EDC knives....Nope; not for sale!"

[ Don't look now; it's already happening. ]

I feces you not.

:D

WRONG!

The actual record is 2.8 seconds from 'posted' to 'SOLD!',BA!

(That's how long it took me to make up my mind, when you offered to make me a Backwoods Knife, sight unseen, for $100! The only reason it took so long for me to reply is: my typing finger was sore, and I had to go soak it in cider!Either that,or ask her to type my reply for me.My way seemed to make more sense.)

lmao how can you not like this gnarly man!

UPDATE
I received the knife today, and let me just say its Awsome, feels great in the hand and its ergonomics are perfect.
The blade finish is pleasing to the eyes, and overall it just fits the purpose of a bushcrafter very well.
A perfect knife for a woodswalking knife. Great sheath too, horizontal carry "my first" is extremely comfortable and tucks away from prying eyes, a nice alternative to dangler or vertical carry, but it works that way too if thats your thing, and it has a sewn in firesteel loop, nice touch and a necessity on a good bushcrafting blade.
Chris nice execution and design.
All in all a nice package.
Thanks buddy. ;)
Ray

PS, did i mention its sharper then hell too  ..
