Hello. I bought a sword for 110$ with credit card payment 4 days ago. A guy named Scott was so kind with e-mails until i make payment. He replied back every e-mail i've send to him. But when i make a payment, after 4 days ago (now) i never got a mail reply. Sword has not shipped, and there is no tracking number too. Order status is still "order accepted" so what? I thought there is something mess about this and googled them and what did i see? A TONS OF GUYS WHO GOT SCAMMED FROM THESE GUYS. So what do i have to do? Call credit card company? or wait for reply to my e-mails? Please, help me!

I would make the call and see what they can do
Always look at feedback before you buy number one rule

No one polices sellers until someone complains to the police.

However. A company has to be communicative to get a sale. Once the order is placed, the deal should go through without further chatter. It takes more than 4 days to pick the sword from the shelf, pack it up, label, and ship it, and have the carrier deliver it.

Give it a week and then send an e-mail asking about the status of the order, if shipped, or when it will be. You're still in time to speak to a credit card company at that point, so your money is safe.

Unfortunately, a company with bad feedback leaves us all nervous. Don't panic, but keep us informed.

What wre the terms of the purchase? Did they promise to ship the sword within a certain number of days? Has your credit card already been charged? While I do not condone their lack of communication, it may be a bit soon to determine that you have been scammed. Even if they promised you shipping within less than the 4 days you have waited, or if they promised to give you tracking information within less than the 4 days, and if they have already charged your credit card, they may still be guilty only of sloppy business practices but not outright theft.

If they have breeched the terms of the agreement with respect to promised shipping dates, AND they have already charged your credit card, you could send them a final email demanding tracking information within 24 hours or you will cancel your order and contact your credit card company to reverse the charge.

In answer to your last question, a business could be around since 2006 and be scammers if enough people order from them without checking their reputation first. Yours is not the first post from someone who ordered something, then checked out the seller's reputation only after they never received what they ordered.

Hope it all works out, but at least with a credit card, you should have easy recourse and not lose any money.

Yep, it's not panic time just yet, these guys typically drop ship from somewhere or other so it may take a few days / weeks. Having said that with this company's reputation I would make DARNED sure that I had the sword in hand well before the 30 day (or whatever the limit is) limit on your credit card runs out. Honestly, if it were me I would call them up and just cancel the order not only because of who they are, but because of what you have purchased. I can't imagine a 110 dollar sword is anything but a decorative object... but I guess that's food for another discussion. It might be worthwhile to head over to the sword forum here and have that discussion. You may save yourself some money. Just a thought.

You have 60 days to do a charge-back with credit cards.

I suggest you inform the company that you will do just that if you do not hear back from them within 72 hours with shipment tracking information. That gives them 7 total days to respond to your purchase. Maybe they will send the sword.

Whatever their record, you should give them time to respond, then initiate a credit charge-back.

Thank you all for precious answers.

When i see their bad reputation, i panicked and send them 3 e-mail 2 days ago. They did not reply back. I even called my credit card company and told them the situation, they also said there is still time. Yesterday, when i see your comments, i send a final mail them to refund my money or i ll call back my credit company and will make a chargeback. After this, they send me an e-mail :

"Your order has been canceled per your request and a full refund has been processed. You should see the refund in your account within 5-7 business days."

If you ask me, something fishy is still going on. Why 5-7 days? OR maybe i'm in panic too much.
BUT, i see tons of ppl got scammed by them, and some of them also was even called police departments to get their money back. Dunno, maybe it was a little rush but i didn't want to risk it.

Sorry for my bad english.

When a credit card is processed, the seller doesn't generally have the money in his account for 2-4 days. AmEx takes longer. Once the refund is submitted, the card company takes the money out from the seller, then refunds the card account. It's all a paper chase, but it takes time to make sure the money gets moved around properly.

Why 5-7 days?

That's the way the banking system works. See, the bank is downhill from you. When you send money to the bank it rolls right down to them and they get it right away! But when they send money to you, that's very hard for them to do. They have to push it up the hill, day after day before it finally reaches you. Of course they are getting interest on your money the whole time, but you should pity the poor bankers! They have to work so hard pushing those heavy electrons up the hill....

Hello again;
I got my refund :) It has been 3 business days and i got my money without any problem.
