Found this on the All About Pocket Knives site.
We know that Albert Baer (the common denominator) bought Ulster in 1941. Later Ulster & Imperial joined forces to form Kingston Cutlery Co. which made mostly military knives, (though Ulster used the Kingston name before & after WWII).
