Hey Guys! My first posting in a sale thread "look at me!"
Today im listing Cocobolo and mexican kingwood scales. Both are incredibly dense, hard rosewoods with amazing properties.
Cocobolo: My cocobolo is old growth mexican, I bought it in an estate sale, the garage had ceylon ebony, Brazilian rosewood and a woodworkers magazine from 1954. The wood is completely dry, stable and ready to work. For those who haven't used Cocobolo, it is an oily, hard wood that takes an amazing polish, repels water, and works great in a kitchen due to its anti microbial abilities.
Cocobolo scales are between 3/8ths and 7/16s thick, 2 inches wide and 5 inches long
Kingwood: My kingwood is a mexican kingwood, also called Camatillo, is even denser than cocobolo, just as fine grained and water proof. It has a distinct purple hue with wonderful dark bands running through it. Perfect for any knife!
Kingwood scales are a hair over 1/2 inch thick, though the outsides are slightly rough. 2 inchs wide, and 5 inchs long except for K10 which is 6 inchs long
Prices are as follows
