Keith,

Congrats to you and whomever the new owner is going to be on a fine knife:thumbup:

Keith, that's a great looking saddlehorn! They just keep getting better!

I'm amazed this one has not been spoken for. $500 for a 2 blade Custom folder is a good deal for the buyer and this knife in particular is really outstanding.
I've spent into the 5 figures on knives since the beginning of 2011 which is beyond my means. Otherwise i would have claimed this knife yesterday.
It's a Real Beauty !
Keith can you tell me a bit about "Kingwood" ? It's a new one to me.
Thanks, roland

+1  That IS a fine looking knife Keith!

I have some kingwood and it is a highly figured wood, sort of similar to zebrawood. I can't tell if it is a lack of lighting in the pictures, or if that is just VERY dark? At first glance, I thought it was ebony or blackwood.

Everything about it looks GREAT!

Hi Roland,
I got this wood in a trade and didn't know anything about it either. I found it's a member of the rosewood family and it looks like ebony with purple grain mixed in.
GL Drew recently posted a fixed blade that also has kingwood.

Thanks for the compliments folks!

That is about the nicest Trapper I have ever seen. If I was nearer Keith I would have that in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, taxes and postage would sting me dearly.
Absolutely beautiful.
