Hello, My name is Chris Tidwell of Aichmo Knives. I was trained by Jimmy Fikes. I make knives using the methods that he taught me. No knife leaves the shop without being tested for sharpness and strength. I have posted this knife earlier. I made another one and I decided to add a Turk's head knot to this one. I have what I suppose I will call a Kiridashi. If anyone has any suggestions on a better name please feel free. This one is a flat ground chisel grind. Kiridashi #1 made from 1095. 4" Blade, 9 3/4" Overall, 2" Wide, 1/4" Thick. No sheath. $250 shipped CONUS. I take checks or Paypal with added fees. Thank you.

Could you post a picture with something for size reference? Maybe in hand or with a dollar bill? My eyes interpret it as a small neck knife.

At 9 3/4" OAL it's quite a bit larger than you think....I think. ;)

Great new model my friend, very well done. :)

Thank you gentlemen for the compliments. I am not in the shop today. I would say it's definitely not a neck knife. The specs are true. 4" blade from the end of the knot to the point. Almost 10" long. I will try to get back to the shop this evening and get better pictures. I have been busy taking care of my father who has fallen on ill heath. Thank you all again for your thoughts and compliments.
