Hey there everybody! Here’s a new one-off I finished today. I had a custom order that left me only 5 1/4” to work with, it lent itself to a kiridashi style profile so that’s how it came to be. Hope you like it!
Steel is 5/32” x 1 1/4” in NitroV with HT at 60/61. Hand sanded to1200 grit for a fine satin finish. It features an S/Chisel grind. I think I’ll trademark it as a shizzel grind! The edge was about.010” before sharpening.
Dimensions: 5 1/4” OAL, Tip to Scales 1 3/8” with a 2 1/8” cutting edge
The handle is Padauk with brass tube/copper pins and a center mosaic.
