Well, for those that have been following, the move is over, and the shop is back up and running. I'm still wrapping up a few orders, but am hoping to start posting here regularly again starting next week. I still wanted to post something this week and had been working this smaller blade alongside some customer orders.

This Kiridashi is a bit more traditional than the patterns I've been posting. I built this one nice and slim, and ground it on both sides to make it ambidextrous. I did a satin polish finish across the whole blade, and I think it came out great.

The scales are some super nice Arizona Desert Ironwood burl that I snagged, very flashy grain as is typical of lighter colored high quality ironwood. The pins are sterling silver.

I brought the flat grind close to zero, but left just enough behind the edge that this thing should be able to take some bumps and bruises. Will come very sharp.

S35VN @ 60, .155” thick
1.625” edge length, 5.375” OAL
2.1oz
Arizonal Desert Ironwood burl
Sterling silver pins

$95 shipped, includes premium leather pocket sleeve, pocket sleeve w/clip $5 extra.

Very nice. Glad you are back in the shop!

My good friend always says, "Did you have a fun weekend, or are you a homeowner?"
