Kiridashi project...

Not actually a big fan of kiridashis, but man those pics definitely make me want to get one. That's just awesome, awesome stuff.

When you get around to making these, I would like to have one in the same materials as this one.
So, put me down for one if you make enough.
I have the Joker and a belt filer I got from you 3 years ago and they are still in use.
Please contact me when you get ready to make a batch.
thank you

I like it. The angle of the blade to the handle looks more useful then some dashi's I've seen. No chisel grind?

If that's your first attempt to make a kiridashi, I can't wait to see what you'll come up with when you do some hardcore planning! That is an awesome little blade you made. If I had the money I'd ask you to make me one.
Unfortunately, I can't afford it at this time.

Keep 'em comin'!!!

I am not sure if this is a traditional Kiridashi or not, but I really like what you makers are doing with the "kiridashi concept."

I have been searching through the makers exchange lately and there are some interesting variations on the design.

I really like what you did with it!

I would like to see more knives like this and try a few out for myself in the near future.

Thanks for the kind words Gents! I think it's only appropriate to name this one (and others that might spawn from it) the "MorriDashi"... Haha!! Maybe MorriDashi01, MorriDashi02, etc...

Wow, I just love that! Super simple, very clean lines, looks quite useful. I'd wear that around my neck or in my pocket every day!
(If you want someone to "test one out" and review it, drop me a line!) ;)

wow!!it‘s amazing  how do you treat the handle ?it’s very nice!!

Looks awesome! I would've absolutely loved to see a WIP of this one.
