I am NOT a fan of it either, But the pattern sure went nicely with the damascus,kinda growin on me.
BTW the steel is hair poppin sharp!

I almost didn't open this thread. I thought, "Hm. Kironite sounds like some kind of ugly synthetic stuff." But I am really stunned. I have seen few knives that are more visually pleasing than this one, ever.

Thank you squid, I'm with you, I am not a fan of this either but it sure looked cool when finished, still not sure if I'll use this material again.who knows?
 
Best use of kironite I've seen. Flat out works with the shape and damascus. Congrats all around and would have bought for sure if not already spoken for.
