kissing crane knives?

I thinks they are all China made now. My vintage german stockman is very good. A lot were made in Italy.
I still like the Vintage ones.
Robert Klass , Kissing crane , Soingen Germany. They are the ones to get IMO.

I have one made Italy One word to describe it is SOFT. I would say it is the softest steel of any knife I have.

It is/was a made in far away brand managed by the very small German cutlery Robert Klaas.
Robert Klaas still manufactures exquisite pocket knives under their own name, but i expect that they are hard to find in the usa. In my review videos, I examine two variants of their lovely Monolith 2000 model.

I had a couple of their older stilettos and I liked them, but I have traded them off for an auto made by Kissing Kranes. The autos are fairly nice, not exactly sure where they are made in the states though, but really well built.

I had a Kissing Crane that was made in China, nice design, very good value, I would say it is pretty similar to most Rough Rider knives in terms of quality, which for the price is very good. I have since given away either in Bladeforums Giveaways or as gifts most of my inexpensive Slipjoints, I have too Many knives and why use A Rough rider when I own a Case or Queen variant of that same pattern.

If I could get my hands in a real German Made Robert Klaas I would be very interested, my China made one was Stamped Robert Klaas, but it was not very high quality, loved te Robert Klaas lockback in your video

I own their scout model (made in china), which has the same tools/blades/items as would a SAK pioneer, which I also own. I prefer the pioneer.

Kissing crane has some cool designs on their handles, but the steel is soft and dulls very easily.

I have a Robert Klaas trench knife on my side 1930 or 40s very good steel bone handle put steel sheath in leather after cutting the edge [ facing the blade out ] it doesn't touch metal and the spring inside makes it impossible to fall out ...

I have a kissing crane ( mule skinner) that I have been trying to date it has the two cranes in the middle of the blade and Germany in a arch that almost looks hand engraved if any has any info I would be grateful
