Kit for the car.

Look at the Bench made Water knife, its a fixed blade, partially serrated, yellow handle, blunt ish tip but would still be a secent survival or defense piece.
 
do you know what model number it is. 100sh20 mabye?

Benchmades are a bit hard to find other wise.
 
Last week we had this open house at the fire brigade, and I cut seatbelts with my Fallkniven U2 and it was like cutting butter. The cuts were extremely nice. You dont really need a special knife for cutting seat belts, but a special cutter might be nice because of the law things. In Sweden you dont get sued if you happen to cut someone while rescuing that person from a burning car :)

The Gerber LMF II ASEK Combo have everything you need. If you attach velcro on the back you can attach it on the side of your trunk. or just buy the belt cutting part and have it lying in the glove comp.

The knife laws are usually written to stop "bad" people. If the cops stop you and find a nice looking 3-4" edge fixed knife in a hand made leather sheath they would probably dont bother but if they find a 10" super deltaforce rambo ninija knife in a super stealth combat sheath, they might freak out :)

At least over here in Sweden you can bring a knife in your car and noone cares, as long as you look nice and decent and behave properly. If you are the local drug using person driving around in a crappy car the cops would probably take anything that looks sharp from you.
