Hello,

I just wanted to start a discussion about different "Kit" options for the BK7/BK9/BK10 sheaths. I've seen alot of good ideas from several respected individuals:

I've been interested in knives my whole life; however, I'm somewhat new to the "Wilderness/Survival" scene. I've had very little hands on experience with knives in a wilderness situation, so most of the knowledge I've acquired about their use and reliability has just been thru books, internet, and gratefully this forum! Now, although I do not own a Becker YET(I intend on purchasing one within the next month)...I've had some thoughts on the subject myself, and was just wondering if you can help me determine whether they are just a waste of time or not!

(You're probably wondering why I didn't just go to the Wilderness/Survival forum with this issue...Well, who better to answer my questions, than the Becker Users/Fans!)

Anyway...I've been wondering for some time now whether adding a smaller knife for more delicate work would be an idea? I know most people who go out will also carry a SAK or a Multi-tool for smaller jobs, but I was wondering if something like an Arclite would come in handy? Are there any 'in-between' jobs out there where a BK9 might be too big, but a SAK is still too small? I've read alot of reviews talking about fitting things in behind the Kydex strip...would this be a descent place for such a blade?

Like I said, I've just started to REALLY explore the outdoor adventure world, and since coming on here...I've had alot of questions run across this brain of mine. But of course, since I've started to type...my minds gone a little blank?

I would really like to hear what kind of ideas everyone else has or have used.

Thanks for your time...and I appologize for the long-windedness...I sometimes do that. (Drives my wife crazy!) There I go again.

Thanks
