Good evening everyone!
Today I am offering a kitchen carving knife from 1/8 inch stock AEB-L stainless steel. The knife is 11 inches long with a 6 inch razor sharp cutting edge.
Knife is heat treated and double tempered in an Evenheat digitally controlled kiln and aluminum plate / air quenched, all designed to achieve approximately 62 Rockwell hardness.
The grind is full flat and finished off on a Scotchbrite belt resulting in a beautiful satin sheen. Spine is rounded for comfort. The handles are made of highly polished pink dyed giraffe bone and Brazilian Rosewood which I pieced together. Maroon G-10 and pins finish it off nicely.
