EXTRA INFO

These are hand-forged carbon blades (similar to 52100), great as kitchen or hunting knives. Distal tapered, fully flat grind, hidden tang construction. There is no secondary bevel.

Nice slicer, traditionally lower hardness steel (50-53 HRC) sharpens easily on a ceramic rod or utensil.

I'll post care instructions just in case:
  1. Before first use, slightly hone with a fine ceramic rod or a base of a cup.
  2. Apply a little vegetable oil to the blade and leave for half an hour, then wipe dry.
  3. Please do not use sharpeners – only ceramic rod and hand sharpening.
  4. The blade edge is very delicate, not for batoning or bushcrafting.
