This knife is hand forged and heat treated in a water quench by me to a hardness RC about 62+,
using traditional bladesmithing as taught to me by Murray Carter.

Blade length 8.4" (Funayuki)
Spine thickness is .08 at the heel
1.95" high at the base
White steel clad core with stainless steel
This was forged at Murray Carter's shop in Oregon Mar 24/25 under his guidance.
Steel provided by Carter Cutlery
asking $245 sold

Has a machined, buffed/polished finish and is flat ground, raw forged finish, hand sharpened on Japanese water stones.

Simple traditional rural Japanese style wa handle. This is useful because the handle does not become slippery
when wet, and requires little maintenance. Handle coated with tung oil.

Payment is via PayPal, check or money order.
Free priority mail shipping in the US. International is ok, shipping to be quoted

Thanks for looking.

edit to add, I quite like those handles, they are very easy to maintain and comfortable.
