Was home for a hammer in to my own shop, and had a burning urge to use my own powerhammer, so while I was there I forged this little knife. Forged from O1, DOM tubing bolster with maple handle. Still need to HT the blade and then glue it all up. The unhandled one is a very special personal knife, forged from leaf spring from the resource pile in the very first real shop I ever saw, on the very first anvil and powerhammer I ever saw, using the first coal forge I ever saw, using the very first's blacksmith's own personal handmade hammer. Hallowed steel forged with hallowed tools on hallowed ground:cool:

Lately, since I am in a sort of housing limbo, I haven't :D But KFC 3 nights in a row get's old, but soon i'll be cooking up a storm in my own new apartment. Wait til you see the grill I make! I single bachelor's charcoal burning grill, big enough for a couple hot dogs, or a couple burgers, or a big steak, each item cooked on it will have an anvil or something burned into it from the grill bars custom forged.

DOM=drawn over mandrel tubing.. stronger cause there's no seam in it.

I thought you only followed the "Sam Salvati hot dog and cinnamon diet" :p

sam what i sdom tubing?.....cool lookin knife...ryan:thumbup:

Thanks Ryan! DOM tubing is high grade pipe, DOM means drawn over mandrel, which means it was one solid peice and is seamless unlike most pipe. It is great for forging, and other parts like bolsters.

HARHARHAR Will, I'll have you know all the vomiting does wonders for the figure :D
