OK folks, The KITH is closed and all participants have been contacted. There are a few things you need to do to make this run smoothly:
1)
Email me a reply when you get your recipient info, so I know that you got the email. I will mark the list in RED with those who have affirmed they got their recipient info.

2) Contact your recipient if you have any questions about shipping.

3) Contact me and the recipient after mailing the package with the method of shipping and the tracking number. Give them the exact address you put on the package. Again, if you have any questions about the address or shipping ... contact them before you mail it. I will change your name to BLUE when it is shipped.

4) When you get your KITH knife, email me and the sender that it has arrived. I will change the senders name to GREEN when the knife arrives.

5) Post a photo and any comments you want about the knife in this thread.

6) If you didn't get a recipient from me or you can't get a response from the recipient ... or any other issue ... contact me as soon as you can so we can work to solve the issue.

Woohoo! Received the knife crafted by MotorCityMike MotorCityMike today. It is an awesome flipper with a titanium frame. I'm really impressed with the overall quality of the knife and the attention to detail he put into the construction and the beautiful grinds. Feels great in my hand and will definitely be a regular EDC for me.

Thank you Mike!

I got my new knife this afternoon from Mr. Stan Buzek. Good Lord gentlemen, it is amazing. My wife just told me it's hers. She's wrong obviously, it's going in my safe and only coming out on special occasions. She wants to know why I can't make nice knives like this. I can't thank you enough sir.

Either you or your wife need to show pics of the knife

Received my KITH knife from Evan Wilson today, and Evan was right, his pic did not do the knife justice! My picture taking skills are on-par with Evan’s and the natural light this time of year just doesn’t fall right to get a good pic but here it is.

Not only is this a great gift for me,but look how it matches my trad bow hunting gear!

And,Evan included a bonus gift in my box that I will share in the future.
Thank you, Evan, ya done GOOD! 😊

I received my knife today from Joseph Bandeko.
It is an amazing knife as soon as I got it I suddenly had the urge to cut something you know that urge we all get when a new knife comes our way.
the knife is quite literally perfect everything is symmetrical I hope one day my work reaches this level of craftsmanship.
the knife is sharp it bites my nail and wants to take some skin with it.
thank you for this awesome knife.

thanks everyone for the chance to participate in the kith and thanks for the work everyone put in
thanks to stacy and blade forums for hosting the knife kith and for the extra work on your end that has made this possible

So I emailed Mr. Buzek and told him how much I liked it and I'd keep it in my safe. He asked me to throw it in my pocket and use it. I really didn't want to, but I did. I've been carrying since I got it. It reminds me a little of the old case my dad used to carry with him all the time. He was a survival instructor for the air force and said a knife is one of his most important tools. His friends would bring all of their knives over for him to sharpen and the way he would tell if it was sharp was cutting para-cord, which we had hundreds of feet of at our house at any time. I have been in the electrical industry for over 25 years and an old timer taught me to strip wire with a pocket knife instead of wire strippers.

I've been carrying a Benchmade knife for as long as I can remember but I put it in the drawer and put this knife in my pocket. I found myself putting my hand in my pocket often this week and holding it, for some reason it reminded me of my dad. I love how light it is, I really like the micarta, it is used a lot in the electric industry and I have a lot of it in my shop, some of it older than my old ass.

Anyway, I plan to carry it from now on. I want to thank Mr. Buzek again, this knife has made me very happy since the day the mailman dropped it off at my house.

A little edit, I'm a little surprised how emotional this knife makes me feel sometimes when I take it out of my pocket and just look at it during the day. It really makes me think of my dad and my years growing up in the electrical field. So I'm done being weird about it now. Thank you Mr. Buzek, it will be well taken care of.

thrilled to read that you are happy with it,I hope the extra's turn out well when you start working with em.

Just a note to those waiting for their KITH knife:

1) The mail is slower lately due to the holidays.
I mailed my box priority on Monday morning. It was supposed to be delivered by Friday (today). Tracking shows it arrived at the distribution center in Richmond, VA yesterday (90 miles away) and is being sent to the recipient Post Office location (1000miles away) today. Tracking says, "Delivery by 9:00PM Today". We'll see how that goes, but I'm betting tomorrow or later.
2) People have day jobs, and everyone can't rush to the PO to mail a package the day they get their KITH recipient info.

What you can do that will help me keep track:
1) Let me ... and the sender ... know when your KITH knife arrives. That way I can change people to
GREEN.

2)Check the participant list in the first post. If your color in the list isn't right, let me know ASAP. I could have clicked the wrong name while changing colors or misread an email.

3) If you haven't heard anything from your sender, let me know. Also, check your spam folder.

I'm monitoring the KITH senders and checking on the status of any packages that people are concerned about. The only not mailed packages are going out Monday.

My knife from Dan Frazer arrived yesterday. It is a kitchen queen and already has made a big bowl of raita and prepped some chicken for General Tso's.
For breakfast this morning it did its work on bagels and lox.

Nothing bit a simple little knife, sometimes amazing the reaction. Makes me very happy and thanks for carrying it.

My KITH knife from Daado Daado arrived just minutes ago and I'm in love with it already!

Here is a crappy picture I took right after I opened the package, the picture does not do justice of the knife!

Thank you Stacy for organizing this year's KITH and Daado for the awesome blade!
Thank you very much!
I'm glad you like it.

My KITH knife from D Bloch has landed,

A few firsts here for me with this knife, first pro design kitchen knife, first AEB L knife.

It is the sharpest knife I have ever used, I didn't know steel could get that sharp!

Cuts with almost no pressure at all.
