I have a GREEN, Polyester model, KIVA Tent Shelter By Mountain Hardware for sale.(Inner black part not included sold separately in pleanty places, I never bought it to use).
I originally placed the ad for it here but it got lost in time, and in the interm my computer has had problems, so I'm just reposting it.
This is the Polyester model, NOT the silnylon one, the difference is that you can leave a Polyester fabric tent shelter up MUCH longer without deterioration than you can the same model made in Silnylon fabric. UV/Sunlight degrades all fabrics, but Polyester fabrics have been shown to be superior in this regard against most other fabrics in the same applications.
This is a very hard to find model as the company, Mountain Hardware, switched to using Silnylon a few years back. They did this to make this tent more backpacker friendly, but it only saved 6ozs over the polyester model! This tent Shelter really excells as a Basecamp Shelter:thumbup: where you want to leave it up for extended periods of time,think Bug Out Shelter, Deer camp,etc.
It's in very good, clean condition having been my spare for the past few years. It has been set up less than a dozen times! I use my regular Kiva for anything longer than a 3 day trip.
It comes in the stuff sack, with the Easton Aluminum center pole, and the Lifetime Warranty info and info booklet that comes with it new. No tent stakes included.
I find that without fail one gets to a location and needs different tent stakes then what is included with most tents. I keep a small pail full of everything from plastic pegs to metal spikes that goes on my trips, you should too!
I'm going to try and find the picture and specs to edit into to here as soon as I can. I had MAJOR computer issues the past week and need to focus on working those out.
