Tangram is a new pocket knife brand also made by Kizer’s factory which features the same reliable quality as Kizer. This brand is aimed at entry-level consumers at a price range between 30-50 USD (Street price).

Unlike Kizer, Tangram will use a different steel on its knives - Japanese Acuto440 (Acuto+ is a modified 440C alloy, with a little more chromium and some vanadium). In addition, most of Tangram knives are not only every day carry but every where carry because most of them are under 3 inches which will be legal in more areas.

Now is the first released model from Tangram - Santa Fe(TG3002)

Smooth operation and a pragmatic wharncliffe blade makes the Santa Fe a must have. Tradition meets modern design in this compact blade and blows your troubles away like the desert wind.

Looks good, I can see getting one of the brown G10 versions soon.

Great price point.

Wharncliffes are quite handy blade shapes.

Just ordered it. I loved the blade shape the moment I saw it. Hope it's as good as it looks.

Great looking knife at a great price, Kizer! Awesome. I'll have to pick one up just to check it out.

You might want to remove the Amazon links as they're not a paid vendor on Blade Forums.

I don’t know if you use the Kizer account on here for market research or not, but consider a higher end version of this exact knife. Titanium scales and a nicer blade steel. The shape is really nice and I could see a premium version of it doing well.

I got my knife and carried it for 2 days before I posted my opinion. For the whopping $30 I paid, this blows away any other cheap knife I've had. No frills, but the blade is ground pretty thin to slice like a beast, and the knife is mechanically great. Looks like there's no slop in the design like some cheap knives have. If the rest of the Tangram line is like this, I'm going to be buying quite a few more knives. I'm also getting pretty decent performance from the Acuto, seems to almost be a little better than VG-10.

My Santa Fe just arrived today. Really blown away by how good this is for the $. Fit and finish is really good, and the modified wharnie blade shape is perfect for edc . Blade stock is thin, and with the tall flat grind (not hollow grind like the specs report) makes for a super good slicer. Ergos are good, pocket clip is deep carry and works well. Curious to see how the Acuto steel holds an edge, but regardless this is looking like a budget edc that can't be beat in its price point.

I got mine, it is great.

I am not carrying it just yet, I have it stored in my toolbox at work.

What is the actual blade length -- 2.99 inches or 3.35 inches?
