Kizer Corto vs PM2

yes, and if I am not mistaken he was selling a Corto soon after.

History will show that MOST knives I buy will sooner or later be up for sale :) the Corto lasted a bit longer than most, which should say something about it's build, quality and handsomeness ;)

Right now the current flavour of the moment is the Reate Wave which for me hits all the buttons, how long will this one last? I think that my name is on a board somewhere in Lost Wages NV right now...not very good odds ;)

You're doomed I say, doomed! I love Reate, I own the horizon and the district 9 plus in dark stonewash. Very high level! And I want the Wave too! Aaaerrgfhhh!

I'm in the same boat, Gary. My selling a knife right after I get it is almost never an indication that I wasn't satisfied with it. It's just that I have way too many knives to keep everything! Accordingly, if a knife isn't pretty much irreplaceable, there's a high likelihood that I'll be passing it on to a new owner.

As for the OP's question: if you haven't tried out a PM2, I'd highly recommend it. As others have said, there's a good reason it's so highly revered. On the other hand, Kizer makes some excellent stuff--you'd do well to keep them in mind when making purchases down the road. Also, from what I've tried of their less expensive "Vanguard" line (which uses VG10 and G10 rather than S35VN and Titanium), it's been really impressive for the price.

I own a PM2 and I am hooked on it. I might just be the perfect EDC and I love the compression lock! And it is the best slicer I ever had my greedy little hands on... I just have the all black version in S30V, but I kind of like that steel. I want another one in plain steel. I think it will be the digicamo in S30V because n my eyes it is a real classicer.
I know Reate makes very good knives. I own a 423 and is a knife I will never let go. We have a very good dealer here in The Netherlands with whom I have very good contacts. And yup, The Kizer Vanguard line is a steal! A good way to get introduced with Kizer.

I just un boxed the Corto.......color me EXTREMELY impressed....EXTREMELY!!
This knife is as smooth as anything I've held! F&F is amazing!! Great blade shape! Awesome flicker and locks up TIGHT!!
If the OP has a PM2.....go with the Kizer! It will blow you away!

My conclusion is they can't be compared! Very different knives in the hand. The Corto is a great knife and just to be sure I ordered a 2nd PM2; the BHQ sprint run in M4....

I had mine speed blasted. Now it looks even sexier!
This was the blue one...
