Kizer Cutlery - experiences?

If you bought it from a dealer and you don't like it, may I ask why you just didn't return it?

Not sure other than if i don't care for a knife I just sell it, I've never returned a knife that I've purchased.

Returning a knife is the best way to send a message to the maker and dealer -- even better than complaining about it here.

I posted what I did about it, not buying another Kizer.

This knife was an out of specification POS JUNK knife when it left the factory, and due to extremely low quality components, and the complete and total lack of ANYTHING resembling quality control, there is NOTHING I can do to make this POS into an actual FUNCTIONING knife.

This knife is nothing but another piece of Chinese JUNK, that China turns out by the thousands of metric tons per day. Or hour. Who knows.

Obviously when a KIZER knife like this one gets to the end of the assembly line, there is NOBODY inspecting them. Or they are just told to box them up for shipment to the USA, no matter how poorly made they are.

Umm...OK, it looks like a little jingoism is bleeding through in your posts. I think this may be more of a case of User Error vs. knife failure. You're definitely not gaining any points as an objective reviewer...

If you've already decided that Chinese knives are junk, that will define your experience with Chinese knives.
 
As for Chinese knives: I own three Kizers, two Reates and one WE knife now and all are great knives!
 
I had a kizer ki5401a2. It is on washers. The detent is a bit weak. But other than that it is a great knife in every other aspect.
