This little guy just came in the mail and it's true what everybody says about it.
- great size
- solid lock-up
- perfectly centered blade
- great fit and finish
- non-threatening appearance
- looks gorgeous with the blue clip, backspacer, and hardware against the grey Titanium

Only a few negatives;
- the handle slabs are a little slippery
- the blade wasn't all that sharp; a few swipes on my Spyderco Sharpmaker, however, brought it up to stupid sharp
Overall, I'm very pleased with it and think it hits way above what its price would indicate.

If you like the Gemini, you should really try the Laconico Keen (distributed by Massdrop). I'd say it's a few steps beyond the Gemini in terms of executing a Laconico design...and it's like, $30 cheaper. Which is crazy. But somehow true.

Yeah, I considered the Keen but I'm just not fan of that spear-shaped blade.
It is a nice looking knife, though.
And that purple color....

OK, quick update.
This was the quickest catch and release of any knife I ever purchased.
I really wanted to love this knife.
The biggest negatives for me were the handle slabs.
They were just too thin and slippery.
It just didn't feel right in my hand.
So, now, I'm wondering about the Keen.
Anybody out there own both the Keen and Gemini?
How does the feel of the 2 handles compare?
Thanks

Catch and release like you sold it already?

I've had basically the same experience with the two Gemini's I've owned. The handle was just to wide and thin for me. The Keen is very different. Much more like a contoured stick than a contoured slab, so to speak. I find it to be comfortable in almost any grip.
