I'm looking for a larger / durable folder for around $100. I'm leaning toward the Kizer since it seems to be a lot of knife for the money but would appreciate any feedback / suggestions. Thanks.

I'm a big fan of the 0200 - carried mine almost exclusively for a couple of years; then forced it out so I could try some new things. For about 8 months, my pocket had CRK, XM18, SnG, Tolk, Boiling, and sometimes an aluminum handled PM2. Then, one day, I put the 0200 back in my pocket...and it hasn't left since. (I did dress up a Military, and I've been carrying that; but it goes in my left rear pocket as an "also carried").

There are a few knives out that appeal to me; but I've been reluctant to buy because I don't think they'll get pocket time.

Thanks for your response. I've heard nothing but good things about the 0200 and I loved / regret selling my 801. Anyone have a Ki5414A2? I looked but haven't found many reviews.

I have the Kizer 5413a3, same as the a2 but flipper less; thumb studs only. I think it compares favorably to the 0200, with much better steel. Given that you can currently get the 5414A2 for $75, I say go for it.

The 0200 has somewhat better ergonomics (for me, at least), but my Kizer was definitely the nicer knife and better flipper. That said, for a large, durable folder in the $100 range I would, personally, get a CS Recon 1 or Spyderco Manix 2 XL.

ZT0200 is a true tank of knife, which in my opinion no other ZT (other than 030x) can match. You've got to try it out if you have not done so.

I vote kizer. I've had 7 of their knives and they're incredible. everyone had awesome fit and finish, perfect grinds, and very sharp out of the box!
