All knives are essentially new. The Kizer was carried, but I don’t remember cutting anything with it. The Flett Forge Knives were not used. All prices include shipping. I take PayPal G&S. First I’ll take it gets it.
A little about Flett Forge. Matty forges the knives in Scotland using hand tools and locally sourced materials as much as possible. They are historical pieces that are very usable. In general he uses high carbon steels. I never really asked what he used because I didn’t care. I know I’ve discussed 15N20 with him in the past. I own several of his knives to include kitchen knives and even a hatchet. The knives from Matty that I have used hold an edge like a 1095, are easy to sharpen, and don’t chip. I don’t use the three I am listing so I’m hoping to spread Matty’s work to people hesitant to ordering from a maker they don’t know, and outside of the USA. I have 11 knives from him and plan to get more.
1. Kizer Harpoon: 3” blade in Aeb-L. I added a UltiClip to the sheath and am including the original clip. I’d like $40 shipped in USA. SOLD
2. Flett Forge Dirk: This one has about an 11” blade with an OAL of about 15.5”. Sheath is black leather dangler style. Blade is about 1.25” wide and 1/8” thick. The handle is bog oak. I’d like $155 shipped.
3. Flett Forge Dirk (wide): This one is similar in size to #2, but has a blade width of about 1.75” and thickness of 3/16”. Handle is whiskey barrel. Sheath is riveted black leather. I’d like $155 shipped.
4. Flett Forge Seax: This one has a blade length of approximately 10” and a handle of about 5” of bog oak. Blade width is 1.25” and thickness is about 3/16”. Sheath is black leather. I’d like $155 shipped.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
