Kizer Ursa Minor

These are great knives for the price!!! I picked mine up in person from Sanford (Steve) Owen at Carmel Cutlery in Carmel, Ca. The Ursa Minor is Exclusive to his shop. It is Latin for "small bear" and is modeled after Ray's Baby Bear. You can order them here: http://carmelcutlery.com/
Steve is an awesome guy and will take care of all your needs. He hooked me up with all stainless steel hardware for my Ursa Minor and it looks SWEET!!! He also has a buddy that does custom annodizing on the Kizers and has them in his shop. Check him out!

My short review...
This knife is amazing!! For a sub $200 flipper, it has the smoothest flipper action I've seen and felt in that price range. It is smoother than my Lancer 2, and almost just as smooth as my Shirogorov Custom Division 95T. Both of those knives are much, much more expensive. The detent is strong, but not too strong. The lock is stick-free and has a steel lock insert. The blade is perfectly centered. The milling on the Ti slabs is amazing. Very smooth in the hand! My only gripe on this knife is the smooth slabs tend to get slippery when your hands sweat. They are also prone to stain. No big deal overall. Just being nitpicky. It has become my EDC for work and weekday carry. Excellent knife!!!

I have the Kizer Sheepdog and the clip is awesome. Perfectly modern milled shape, great titanium color and solid but not too tight for jeans etc. to pull out. I recommend the Sheepdog as well. Great knife.

I just got this knife and it is somehow twice as smooth as my Gemini. What a knife.
