I just wanted to see if anyone had experience with the kizer vanguard series, specifically the dorado flipper. It looks like a great knife and a great value, I'm just curious about the action, bearings and detent

I just got a Kizer Dorado but the full Ti version. It is an excellent knife. One of the best in my collection. Ceramic bearings riding on steel races and ceramic detent. My knife's detent is set up perfectly. I can light switch or push button which ever I prefer. The detent is not as strong as ZT' is doing now, but I prefer it that way.

All that being said I don't know how much transfers to the vanguard version.

Someone I know to be trustworthy has one for sale over at Reddit's /r/knife_swap. According to him, it flips as well or better than his ZT 0562CF. I haven't handled one personally but from my experience wither Kizer's Vanguard knives, it's probably a pretty safe bet. If I were you, I'd order one from Blade HQ. If you don't like it, you can always return it for store credit or a refund.
