All the talk about stainless bottles got me lookin. Just scored me a 27 oz klean kantean fromhttp://www.getngreen.com/store/

I thought about the 40oz bottle, but opted for the more packable 27 oz.

i want a couple of those but i can't figure out what is up with the odd sizes? they seem a little bit random to me...but maybe i'm just missing a conversion somehow...

I dont know bout that either simon. Maybe its just the overall bottle diamension they were shooting for, and thats just the amount the sizes held. I thought the same thing. Anyone know whats up with the upgrade stainless caps?

The 40 oz Kleen Kanteen is the same diameter as the 32 oz Nalgene and the 38 oz Guyot.

ok, next question, will the same amount of water purifier work if you geustimate 32 oz?
or if you use it with all 40 oz?
this is something that has kept me from getting one of these

Yup. I use one of the GSI stainless cups on my 40 oz Kleen Kanteen. Fits perfectly!
