Klecker Abiqua Hunter w/ sagewood gear leather sheath. 7Cr17MoV blade steel, it's brand new but not sure I have the box, I'll have to look. Has a gut hook that fits into the handle.

Is the gut hook fixed somehow in the handle or is it simply the scales holding it, pls?

It's got a couple spring ball detents that hold it in place. By placing your thumb on the forward jimping, you can easily slide it out but it stays in there rather well.
