Klein Tools Chicago USA???????

Klein are THE tools for an electician

I have pliers, diaqs, and needlenose pliers for 30 years.
They had daily use for 20 years.
They are as good as new!!

I was looking at some of there knives tonight. I found one just like the one I cleaned up and sharpened for Mike for $21 in carbon steel. I thought that was quite the deal myself.

To the sparkies amongst you: over here Channel lock seem to be very popular. How do you think they stack up to Klein?

And for knife content, so I don't completely hijack the thread; Knarfeng, that's a lovely elegant knife. :)

And Knife Crazied, let us know if you manage to snag the guy! :)

I think Channel Locks are of equal quality. But they don't have all the specialty tools that make the job go smoother. Peruse. And drool.

For instance, they make an electrician's hammer with an extra long snout so you can hammer a nail into a 4S box or switch box without hitting the side with the handle.

I don't know who is making their standard electrician's knives these days. I've kind of been tempted to buy one just to find out what the new ones are like.
