got my four a coupleof days ago، first off they got here super fast. Second very impressed, now scared I'm gonnabuy more

You are lucky and good thinking. I went with the "hobo" method and recycled the cardboard temporary sheath it had on it. Black Duck tape can do anything.

When I start carrying the KLVUKs on a regular basis I'll make a real Kydex sheath for it.

Make? NICE!
I love my kydex holsters. nothing faster that holds so tight. except my girl.

Yes Sir kydex is good, really good. The only thing I have to do in Alaska (and other very cold places of course) is to make the holster fit looser. Because if moisture or liquid gets in between the knife and sheath you need a little space to wiggle the blade out or else you'll have a Kukri frozen in the sheath and useless.

Some people don't like the Mora sheath because it's non form fitting and really kind of a loose sheath. But the people in Sweden know all about designing sheaths that work in bitter cold. Their sheaths are loose to keep the knife from sticking/freezing in sheath.

Everything about Mora knives is practical. Big, comfortable handles that are good for bare hands and gloves. Durable, and functional sheath. They aren't real pretty, but they are very functional.

I would like to learn how to work kydex, I think I'd rather carry my khuks in kydex than the heavier/fancier traditional sheath.

Making a Kydex sheath is like baking a cake, just follow the steps and use the right temperature. Your first sheath might not be the best but you will improve with practice. The traditional Kukri sheath is OK (there are many types) but for my harder working knives that are going camping with me I like Kydex.

Below are two (2) I made. This black one is the 1st Kydex sheath I ever made. It's first knife sheath on the left (090 black Kydex).

The second is a red Kydex sheath below in the middle was more involved and was a little difficult to make without scratching the Kukri. This sheath is for a blem Sirupate that did not come with one.

Check Youtube and other web sties for instructions on DIY Kydex sheath making. I like the tutorial above and styled my red Kukri sheath after this style. Remember that is just one way to make a Kydex sheath. There are many other ways/variations to do it.

Thanks Sweet!
Those look good, and very functional.
Where do you guy your kydex supplies?

Looks like about $200 investment in tooling?
That's about right for the basic kydex sheath depending on what equipment you already have at home like a drill, Dremel Tool, clamps, rivets and riveter, etc. I spent around 500 USD when I started because I needed everything having just moved from Costa Rica to Alaska.
Below picture is an example of some supplies that are needed.

The good part about this is once you have everything you can cheaply produce Kydex: sheaths, gun holsters, folding knife holders, flashlight holders (or Torch holders in Britain), Halloween masks, and many other things.

Lastly, the best part about making things in Kydex is that it is FUN. There's nothing like making something useful and maybe even artistic.

Um... I think a Glock might be too much "heat" for making Kydex...

The Glock is to protect those supplies against the two masked characters. Especially Bruce Lee. You wouldn't have a chance without at least a handgun.
